Here at Clever Organics we love the environment, and more importantly the role that compost worms play in nurturing and recovering it.
The use of compost worms to recycle household organic waste is called “vermicomposting” and it results in you making “vermicompost”. We want to bring the love for vermicomposting to every household.
Vermicompost is good for your garden (or pot plants) and saves you money buying fertilisers and potting mixes. It has some amazing properties and you will be astounded with the results. Healthier plants, more flowers, more fruit, vegetables and herbs, as well as your plants being more resilient to disease and pests.
Vermicomposting is also good for the environment because it reduces the amount of organic waste going to landfill. When organic waste decomposes in landfill it produces methane which contributes to global warming.
With that, our packaging is 100% recyclable. Our worms are delivered in a calico bag, filled with professionally designed bedding to ensure a safe journey. This is packed inside a cardboard box and sealed with paper-based masking tape. All the components of our packaging are biodegradable and able to be fed to the worms upon arrival.
